Does this training qualify me to use EMDR in practice?
EMDR is an unregulated therapy (as is counselling and coaching) however it is important for practitioners to ensure they are working within their own competence levels. This course provides a high quality input into the theory and practice of EMDR that will equip you to incorporate this therapy into your client work. It is strongly recommended that you ensure that you are adhering to the requirements of your professional body (eg ethical framework), have supervisory support, and professional insurance in place.

What are the course requirements?

Workbooks will be provided on Modules 1 and 3. These give a comprehensive overview of the course content, and there are sections for you to complete to assist in consolidating the learning material, including sections for you to record how you have applied the EMDR protocol for discussion in Modules 2 and 4.
